Children's Moccasins

Children's moccasins come in a variety of styles. Some have bead work or are just plain leather. Others have a flannel lining while others do not. I can make them with wrap-around tops or just the regular low top, with or without fur trim.

Usually these moccasins have a double sole for extra long wear. The hide is generally Moose hide or Deer hide. I also use commercially tanned Cow hide or Elk hide on some children's moccasins.

Home-tanned Moose hide is difficult to obtain & can be quite expensive. The tanning process is very lengthy and arduous so I usually only use the home-tanned hide for special orders.
